  2. I made the child one today for a girl with leukemia. I added a border. I slip stitched to the end of the row. Then I sc, dc, sc in one stitch and then sc in the next stitch. I repeated this to the end. Try this on your next hat. It is cute. :) Thanks for the great pattern.

  3. That sounds like fun! I will have to try that. I made one yesterday for a little girl in the hospital too..maybe I should make a second one with the border :)

  4. Thank you for this lovely hut. I am beginner and would really like to ask you to explain me something, because I am stuck already with Olivias butterfly hut. How should I do this:
Rnd 4) ch2, *2dc in first st, dc in next 2dc, repeat from * around, join.
Especially what does this mean: in rnd 4) dc in next 2dc and in rnd 5) dc in next 3dc ?
I would love to do it for my daughter for St. Nicholas.

  5. I just wanted to thank you for the lovely hat pattern. I have made it for my little granddaughter but made it a little small, so I added a little to make it fit her. I am about to crochet another one and make it a little larger this time so that I can just make it exactly as you have. You can see the hat on http://creativspirit.blogspot.com.
    Thanks again.
